Claude Code

Govern every Claude Code tool call with a pre-tool hook, and optionally route its model traffic.

itr adds a PreToolUse hook (matcher *, timeout 600 s, "onFailure": "block") and post-tool hooks to ~/.claude/settings.json, and points remote MCP servers in ~/.claude.json at https://intertrace.fly.dev/mcp. --route-llm sets ANTHROPIC_BASE_URL and an apiKeyHelper. It then runs the allow/deny probe; add --live to also run it through Claude Code itself (uses your Claude account and tokens).

Asks and managed settings

In an interactive session, developer-level asks appear in Claude Code's own prompt. Print mode and the SDKs have nobody to ask, so those asks wait for a central approval. See Coding agents.
